airplay only playing audio no video

I encountered a very frustrating problem using my ipad, attempting to turn on airplay to my Apple TV. Well it would mirror audio only but not video. I setup airplay on my phone and it worked fine. So it had to be an ipad issue. I tried everything and in the end I decided to reboot my ipad and the mirroring of video started working again. Fixed for now.

Hold the left on / off down and the screen appears offering to turn off the device, swip it and restart your ipad

Hope this is helpful, took me an hour to figure out a simple reboot worked. Save some time and do it. Apple you have a small bug here.
