after recently upgrading to X EI CAPITAN, i experiencing issues with airdrop features, so unable to transfer photos from my iPhone 6 to MacBook Air (13-inch, Mid 2013). Would appreciate if you can help me in this regards.

Essentially, i've tried to do exactly the same thing as i used to, in other words, turn on wi-fi and the bluetooth on both my devises (iPhone 6 and MacBook Air) and as i already mentioned, i used to see on my macbook air my iPhone 6 where i was transferring some photos. However, after upgrading to X EI CAPITAN, my iPhone 6 does not appear anymore by trying to do exactly the same procedure. Hope that will help you.

Is your iPhone running iOS 9.0.2? It should be.
I have successfully performed the same AirDrop transfers from my iPhone 6S using iOS 9.0.2 to my MacBook Air (2013) running El Capitan.
yes it does, and still unable to send via airdrop photos, very strange. by the way, although i've downloaded the EI CAPITAN, i still do not see the application on launched pad either, so i can only assume its to do with either ei capitan or other associated issues.
have you sort it out the airdrop issues ? please i need a help as it still does not function.
