Q: Is there a way I can get iMessage on my Macbook A1181?

It says I need a certain update. Im currently at 10.7.5 but theres no other updates. Is there a way I can download iMessage to my macbook?

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

    Choose About this Mac from the Apple menu, click on More Info, and check the model identifier.

     

    If it's MacBook5,2, only by upgrading the computer's OS.

    If it's MacBook4 or below, no.

    No A1181 MacBooks have a model identifier of 5,1 or 6 or above.
