Q: Hung up while preparing library

I was installing an update of photos and it hung up at 50% while preparing my photo library. What should I do?

Did you see an alert message in Photos when the issue preparing the photo library occurs? The article below provides a lot of great information and troubleshooting tips that will resolve similar issues migrating existing photo libraries using Photos.
