My SSD is not recognized by my Macbook

I'm using my Macbook Pro late 2011. I replaced the DVD disk with an 256GB OCZ SSD and I made that SSD my boot driver. I have been using it without any problem for almost 4 years now.

Last night I upgraded my OS to El Capitan, it worked fine then I sleep my mac. Today when I open it, I couldn't login to the OS. It hanged infinitely after I enter my password. I restarted my mac but it is unable to boot, after awhile, it showed a white screen with a folder (with question mark) icon in the center of the screen. I restarted and hit CMD+R to boot to recovery mode and used Disk Utility but it can't recognize the SSD (it doesnt show in the left box where hard drivers are listed).

How can I fix this? For further info, when I upgraded the OS, I remember there was a prompt to encrypt the disk with FileVault and I clicked Yes. Is there any chance that FileVault messed things up? My SSD might be broken but I doubt it because I haven't had disk broken problems for so many years with this laptop and my previous laptops.

have similar issues.

i have MacBook Pro Retina 15" Late 2012, it was customized design. i7, 2.8Ghz, 16GB, 768GB SSD.

working like charm since years. but yesterday night, i planned to reinstall the system as following steps.

i made bootable USB of EL Capitan, and installed it. and enabled the FileVault and all the options it asked for during installation. after that i tried to open the bootcamp assistant it said please wait since the disks are being encrypted.

so i waited.

than i use disk utility and make these partitions on (Apple Partition Map)

Macintosh 100GB (Mac OS Extended - Journaled)

BootCamp 100GB (ExFat)

Data Disk (rest of the space also format as ExFat)

than i again make windows 10 bootable usb from my surface pro4. and inserted to macbook and start the installation by holding the option key after chimmm sound of macbook. there i see drive Macintosh and Windows and EFI.

i chose Windows and installation goes on. during installation i tried to chose the bootcamp disk i created as exFat in mac os. but it didnt allow. so i delete the bootcamp (here i get confused did i delete the bootcamp or Macintosh because both drives were same sizes and it was not showing the drive names.)

anyway i assume one of them as bootcamp and deleted and windows format this drive and installation goes on. it copied all the files and then it restarts it self complete the installation. here

here after i didnt see any movement for long time like 5 mints waiting. i turn off the macbook by holding the power key.

then turn it on. and hold the option key. nothing happens.

i didnt see any logo any icon after this step.

as i turn on the macbook. it gives chimm sound and then screen seems like grey but no logo or mark nothing happens.

i removed all connected devices usbs etc. and tried by holding option key. no luck.

gone through the blogs, tried so may keys combinations by resetting the ram, holding the CTRL+Option + P + R no luck.

holding the CMD+R to go to recovery by internet. but nothing showed up.

i have tried all the possibilities. but still the same.

than i open the backcover and remove the battery grip connected to logic board. and give like 10 mints again. nothing happens. same grey screen after chimmm sound no progress no icon.

then i remove the ssd and turn it on. it gives me blinking folder icon with question mark. oh God thanks that its alive.

then i insert the bootable USB and tried option key. everything is working fine.

as i insert back the SSD in to its pcie slot again no booting. no icon no life.

i am sure that nothing happens with my SSD. its not broken. its not fallen down. no damage. just software issues.

can anyone help me please what to do next? i dont have any enclosure to attach this ssd with any other working computer and check or delete the partition table by fdisk. etc.

really will be grateful to you guys for helping me out. where there i live have no apple services or any experts. so you guys are only my hope.

one more thing, i just attached one external sata drive and install the mac os El Capitan on this sata. the macbook is working fine. its installed and running at the moment. but

how can i fix my pcie SSD 768GB?

thanks in advance.

Regards.

Well, depending on the brand you have warranty !!

as for the data, it is not as easy as on a HDD, but as soon as the SSD is out, connect with a sata to USB cable to a working mac, it may show. If it does, there is a small chance that the main content register is corrupt only and that the files are still there. You need a specialist to get it off the disk.
