mac diver for HP External USB DVD RW Drive

I want to use HP make usb dvd rw drive for using cd and dvd, advise me how from where get mac diver for same. hp site is not showing any driver for this product.

MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

Dear

That's should be the case in true sense but my mac is not recognising at all the HP USB DVD read/write device/drive.

Further, on HP site nor driver support exist for mac as such. The DVD drive is working fine in any other windows laptop.

pl advise otherwise this derive will go waste.

Some of these questions might repeat what you've already tried. Apologies in advance.

Please post the specific model.

Please confirm that you've tested the HP optical device on a Microsoft Windows system after you've initially seen problems with the device on OS X Yosemite. You have probably already tried this, but I'm not entirely certain of that.

Try removing all external USB devices from your MacBook Air. Everything other than the HP optical drive. Hubs, disks, everything else. Connect the HP optical device, and see if it is now recognized.

Reboot your MacBook Air. See if the device is now recognized.

Swap the USB cable you're using for one that is known to work.
