Oct 13, 2015 12:11 PM in response to AKozhuhovby Elixir1119,Yea they are saying that it's fine, and I'm sure it is. But it is still annoying knowing that it does this. We didn't spend all this money for it to make an annoying noise when tilted. My 2013 Retina Macbook Pro does not do this at all.

I made a video showing the noise.
Just got a 2nd Macbook and its making the same noise.
This is 2/3 Macbooks that we have purchased from the Apple refurb outlet making this noise.
I am returning both of them. I have never before seen a laptop that has parts moving around inside it.
This is a cross post from: Macbook Pro Retina when tilted or flipped makes a clicking/popping noise

Oct 13, 2015 12:20 PM in response to brothamon1by AKozhuhov,I've used lots of MBP's 2012-2014 , no one has the same issue.
My own worked for a 5 months without any noises, what will be 5 months later - it will fall to pieces?
What could be a joke. I'll better buy new XPS13, pretty sure there will be no "normal" noises.

Oct 14, 2015 8:19 PM in response to AKozhuhovby proxenmity,I switched to Mac less than a month ago because of the hardware and software issues of windows 10 laptops. So far I love my 13" MBPr but now I am noticing this same knocking sound. I can't stand it. It did not do this when I first bought it. My girlfriend has a 13" MBPr as well and she bought hers after mine, and hers does not make this sound.

Oct 14, 2015 8:30 PM in response to proxenmityby AKozhuhov,Official Apple Support says it's fine if no sound while your laptop stands on solid surface.
No matter how it sounds while moving. Bravo, Apple! Sold a crumbling rattle for 2000$ and says that's fine.

Oct 14, 2015 8:42 PM in response to leroydouglasby AKozhuhov,Sure it's under warranty, i've filled online complain and get that answer, that it's fine. MBP2015 works like that. Like a rattle i mean.
Really try to take my money back and never buy their production after that, it's ridiculous.

Oct 14, 2015 8:44 PM in response to leroydouglasby proxenmity,Oh, I will be taking it in. Right now I'm out of town; I'll bring it in when I get back. I found out about this noise only a few days ago and it's been bothering me ever since. Also I need this laptop for class and it's the only laptop that I own besides a surface pro 3 which is horrendous for multiasking. Only thing I'll accept is a new exchange until this semester is over.

Why settle for a on-line answer and rebuttal, yes that is ridiculous.
Take it in for over the counter hands on evaluation. Obviously something is not right.

Oct 14, 2015 9:19 PM in response to leroydouglasby AKozhuhov,I wrote one more detailed feedback to http://www.apple.com/feedback/ , recommend everyone do the same.
Not sure why it's the only place where that problem persists - nobody knows why they shouldn't buy a new macbook.
