Invalid Binary - Validated in archive, Desktop App

I've been struggling with this issue for weeks.
I have several desktop apps which need to be updated. After archiving the builds, they pass variation with no problems.
But when I upload them and link them to a new app number, iTunes Connect says 'Waiting for Review" then changes to "Mac 1.0.1 Invalid Binary" after 15 minutes or so. In iTunesConnect, all of the build details from my uploads are stripped "Binary State- Bundle Short Version String- Upload Date Build SDK- Bundle Version String"
The build details used to contain information but are now all empty. Previously these contained 'Binary State - Validated", and are now all blank.
Is this happening to anyone else ?
