Is it possible to set up an Apple ID that requires 2 people passwords? Like a dual signature?

We want to set up an Apple ID that requires 2 people to input their password for log in or deleting. Kind of like a dual signature. Is this possible?

Hi

That is not presently possible. The closest option at present is two-step verification, which - in addition to entering your password - also requires you to verify your identity using one of your devices or another approved method before you can:

  • Sign in to My Apple ID to manage your account.
  • Sign in to iCloud on a new device or at iCloud.com.
  • Sign in to iMessage, Game Center or FaceTime.
  • Make an iTunes, iBooks or App Store purchase from a new device.
  • Get Apple ID related support from Apple

Also, two-factor authentication (built in to iOS 9 and OS X El Capitan) is a extra layer of security for Apple ID. It will be rolled out gradually to users who meet specific system requirements and other criteria starting this autumn / fall.
