My JBL FLIP is fully charged but not pairing with Mac Mini, using OS X El Capitan 10.11, any suggestions? I have tried pairing using both the internal speakers & my TV sound. What else do I need to do to make this happen? It is a new Mac Mini so didn't pair using any other operating system.

Does the Flip work with other devices? Maybe it is defective?

Try pairing the speaker while it is unplugged from the power source...Worked for me :-)
The mac worked with other devices, but was defective so now have a new mac that I'm not updating to El Capitan and my Flip isn't pairing with my iPhone lol, so it has a problem also.
Did that but found out I had a double problem - had to return the Mac because one of the ports was bad and my Flip wasn't pairing with my iPhone.
