Ipad 2 and Logitech keyboard

My Logitech bluetooth keyboard pairs with my iPad 2, however, several of the keys are reversed (a and q, for example). I've rebooted the iPad, changed batteries in the keyboard, confirmed the keyboard language, and nothing seems to work. Keyboard works fine with iPad mini and iPhone 6S. Any ideas? Thanks!

Yes, if the top row of keys is typing, AZERTY instead of QWERTY, that is the French keyboard. Same for the M.

What exactly do you see in the list of keyboards under settings? And why do you see when you tap on English so you get a list of virtual and hardware layouts? Which one is selected under Hardware?

Yes, that makes sense, but it's already on Querty. When I change to Azerty or Qwerty, the on-screen keyboard does change to foreign keyboards. However, when I elect Qwerty, then the on-screen keyboard is accurate - with keys as they should be.

Something happens when I use the Logitech keyboard, I guess.

My list of Keyboards includes "English" and "Emoji." Under English, I've selected Qwerty. I don't see a hardware list! Sorry to be so much trouble, but I feel like I'm close to an answer! By the way, the keyboard works fine with my iPhone and iPad mini.

Finally, my iPad 2 is running iOS 9.0.2 and is up to date. Thanks.

I think that under English with a wireless keyboard connected you should normally be able to choose the layout you want from among us, dvorak, colemak, us international-pc, us extended, british, french, german, spanish-iso, italian, dutch, belgian.

Does anything change if you do Command plus Space or Control plus Space on your hardware keyboard? That would normally change the layout from English to something else if you had more than one on your list.
