Can I delete AppleScript from my laptop?
Is AppleScript simply an App to be used if owner wants to/ Or is it a required operating component?
MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012), iOS 9.0.2

AppleScript is not just the language, it is a system framework that provides interapplication messaging. Since there are many applications that use it, as well as OS X itself, I would consider it a required component.
you want to remove the application "Script Editor"? It takes up about 13.7M on the disc. Is there some other reason?
I've had several major crashes. I downloaded MacKeeper and cleaned everything up, running much better BUT there are 2 "Junk" files popping up every single time in Binaries Cutter which refuse to clear. 1 in System Preferences and 1 is Script Editor for a total of 738K. I know it's a bit OCD but it bothers me not to know what that issue is....
You understand that MacKeeper is in a widely-reported class-action lawsuit, and is a key source of instability and OS X damage reported in the Apple Support Community by a huge number of posts?
How to remove MacKeeper from May 2015.
