fstorture

Hi all,

I got fstorture from http://fstools.macosforge.org/trac/wiki/ToolsDevelopment link using: svn checkout http://svn.macosforge.org/repository/fstools/trunk fstools.

Does anyone know if this is the latest version used?

Another question I used this tool by mount through finder in yosemite to my storage and use the mount (Volume/Clienttest1) for pointing the mount point in test.

I got this volume by using mount command in yosemite terminal. Till now all is fine (hopefully), I created two root dirs in mount point called dir1 and dir2 and run the following command: ./fstorture /Volumes/CLienttest1/dir1 /Volumes/CLienttest1/dir2 1

The output was:

/volumes/CLienttest1/dir2/00-25959-0Fp.html fstat with wrong write protection status (0100600)

/volumes/CLienttest1/dir2/00-27332-02wc.rtf fstat with wrong write protection status (0100400)

When running fstorture with MAC in both sides (client is yosemite and leopard is the server) I got the same error.

Any idea what am I missing? with -v flag I am getting the tests done but not the errors in output).

Is it the right way to run this utility? if so, why are the errors?

Any response will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Limor
