im on holiday desperately trying to buy a book from the iBooks store, but nothing happens when I open the store. The hotel wifi isn't fast - but I can't get anything at at all out of the store. Whatever I do after drawing a blank page with the icons for featured, top charts etc across the bottom, the rest of the page is blank and the spinning icon top left stops after a while - and I've left it for up to an hour without anything happening. I've noted the App Store being very slow to load before and my work around for that is to Google the app I want and click it so that the store opens specifically with the app I want. Ice tried that here - googled a book that's available in iBooks and I click and the ibooks store opens - but same result - an empty page that stays there long after the progress wheel has stopped spinning.
MY current solution is to download the kindle app - and that's downloading fine - so I will read a bookbut not on iBooks and not for want of trying!
any suggestions? I'm in iOS 8.4.1 with an ipad3
