does iBooks support Sanskrit in devanagari font?
It is an English translation of an Upanishad with the original Sanskrit in Devanagari font. Commentary is in English. Transliteration has diacritics.

I think the answer is yes. Search the ibookstore for sanskrit or related terms and you may find some examples there already. In any case, devanagari script is supported as far as I know.
