Q: iMac late 2012 and Windows 7
Hi
I've tried to install Windows 7 on my iMac late 2012 (El Capitan) with Boot Camp Assistant, but can't finish the installation because the keyboard and mouse does not work.
I followed the instructions for a new installation of Windows 7 found here, Install Windows 7 and earlier on your Mac using Boot Camp - Apple Support
After the first reboot I'm able to choose the partition to install Windows onto by using the arrows on the keyboard. The mouse is not working. On the next screen I'm able to choose language, keyboard and time/currency settings. The installation then continues as normal. After the second reboot I'm supposed to create a user and computer name, but this is not possible because the keyboard and mouse is not working.
I've searched around the web for a solution on this problem, but I have not found any working solution. I would appreciate any suggestions that might solve this problem.
