Contacts update via iCloud

Hi

Hoping someone can help.

When I used to update contacts on my iPhone 6, they used to appear on my Macbook Air via iCloud. Now they do not.

I have reset my iCloud settings and no effect.

What can I do ?

I have the latest IOS installed on both devices, they are correctly connected to iCloud and I have wifi enabled and connected.
