If you want all of your photos to automatically be on both devices (assuming you are using the same Apple ID on both) then another option is iCloud Photo Library. For that, on both devices go to Settings > iCloud > Photos and turn on iCloud Photo Library. See iCloud Photo Library FAQ - Apple Support
