I have an extensive safari sidebar that I am constantly using for research - studio and personal stuff. The icons for each site were really critical for fas work..
now all I get are little folder and bookmark icons. ****.. am I going to have to move out into another browser - or can I get the icons back?

The only way that I see display the icons is to select "Bookmarks" from the Safari menu.

YES - once I open that drop-down they are all there. But not in the sidebar. is this an update in the design? I wonder if it's encouragement to ditch the sidebar?
in anywise - thanks - but I will keep trying to get the icons back in full view..
This feature has been removed by Apple in El Capitan.
If you want it back, the only way so far is submit a feedback here.
