If you have a jailbroken iphone then yes it could be a virus.
Do you have a corporate email account on your phone?
iphone isn't jailbroke, I don't have my email linked to my phone. I just use safari to access my hotmail
Are you in any particular app when this happen?
Was this a text message or an email, and did you click a link in it? If you did you have given away everything to a criminal. What you received was a "phishing" message designed to steal your Apple ID, password, and probably all of the information on your phone. And possibly even hold your phone for ransom. If you can change your Apple ID password IMMEDIATELY before it is too late. Go to https://appleid.apple.com. After you have changed your password come back here for more instructions.

Did you already change the passcode?
I Perhaps had apps open but I wasn't on my phone at the time. Literally went to pick up my phone and the notifcation was there like a low battery notification
Did I already? The notification came up to change my password within 60 minutes. It had to options underneath, change now and change later. I clicked changed now. Entered my old 4 did it passcode then it asked for a new 4 digit passcode but I just typed my old one back in because I didn't want a new one to remember
It wasn't a text message or an email. It wasn't a link, I clicked change now and it took me to my security settings to change my passcode
Do you have a corporate MS Exchange email account on your phone? That may have been from your IT department.
That was not a message that Apple would ever display.
Are there any profiles installed on that iPhone?
Settings > General > scroll down > Profiles.
"Change passcode in 60 minutes" I have done this, does anyone know what this means or if my apps are safe such as online banking, PayPal other apps that have my saved card details? Is this a virus? What should I do?
