Hi All, I have a carefully curated favorites album on my iphone. Are "favorites" synced across platforms? Why can't I find my favorite photos marked as such on my macbook pro?

Are "favorites" synced across platforms?
Are you using 'Photos' on your Mac, do you not have a favourites album on your Mac.
I am using Photos on my mac, and I do have a favorites album.
Unfortunately, the album only includes those images which I have marked as favorites on the mac (and not the ones marked as favorites (which presumably goes into the metadata) on my phone).

Do you have iCloud Photo Library turned on,
Are all the photos syncing properly.
Guess what? You fixed it! THe photos were syncing (with a day or two delay) just fine (and the favorites, per my problem, were not) but I tuned on and off icould back-up and it did a general sync which included favorites. Thank you, Winston!
