When we plug in our iPhone and iPad devises to the computer running Window 10 and the latest version of iTunes 12 our devices are not recognised

When we plug in our iPhone and iPad Air (Wi-Fi) devises to the computer running Window 10 (Windows 10.0 x64) and the latest version of iTunes 12.3 our devices are not recognised.

I have run the diagnostic test and the following information is given:

**** Device Sync Tests ****

No iPod, iPhone, or iPad found.

I have looked at the Apple tips and there is no reference to Window 10.

Help please.
