I need to restore my 5C but can't access the screen to turn off Find My Phone...help!

How do I access Find My Phone to turn off when my phone will not allow me to access home screen? I suspect I need to restore, phone will not turn off, will not go to home screen.

iPhone 5c, iOS 9.0.1

You can do this by logging into iCloud if you have access to any PC or Mac with access to the internet.

Use your AppleID and password to login and remove your device from Find My iPhone.

You could use DFU mode.. Avoids Find My iPhone.
