apparently iWorks is out and some new program is in? How do I get iWorks and Pages to function normally?

Any one have any idea how to up grade iWorks , Pages? It seems the Apple Store is not functioning when it comes to upgrades? is this true?
The last named iWork '09 was discontinued when Pages v5, Numbers v3, and Keynote v6 were introduced in Oct. 2013. The iWork '09 DVD, or individual iWork '09 applications that were available in the OS X App Store prior to Oct. 2013 — are no longer available from Apple. The OS X app store only keeps the current (as of this post) released version of Page v5 (v5.5.3), Numbers v3 (3.5.3), and Keynote v6 (6.5.3) available for purchase and/or download. These applications require Yosemite or El Capitan. Older versions of these current applications are no longer available.
What specific version of Pages (about pages) do you currently have, and what operating system version?
I went to apple store and am unable to download v5 for Pages. There is no "Get" button.
