iTunes keeps maximizing on its own

I am getting really frustrated with this. Ever since 12 came out I have been having this issue of iTunes maximizing on its own. I will minimize it and then go about my business with whatever I am doing. I'll be browsing the internet or typing and up pops itunes. It does it all the time and it is infuriating! Anyone have a fix for this besides deleting itunes completely?
