GB 3 refuses to inst. ! (macbook)

Hi!

I have tried 4 times now to inst. GB 3 on my macbook.
Choosing custom inst. , ONLY the GB 3 package. Repairing
permissions all the time - and removing all the garageband stuff
between every inst. attempt.
The inst. fails after the loops are installed, just after the instruments
starts to inst. Message: "there where errors installing the software"
( i have read quite a few posts about this - no help to find )
Really need help!

A while ago i inst. again,it stopped when 50-60% instruments was installed.
Then i fired up GB 3 and it works!!!!
Anyone have any clue about stabillity in the long run with a "partial inst."
like this?

I'm guessing that Garageband is fine or else it wouldn't be working. Not having all the instruments installed won't cause any problems with GB's operation, of course you won't have all the software instruments.

I was wondering if you installed Garageband from you macbooks install DVD or from a ilife DVD.
