Books on iPad showing in iPhone layout

I was having trouble with a 400+ Page book that keep crashing iBooks on iPad, so I deleted it and re downloaded from cloud. It worked but now the book is presented in an iphone layout, with 1100+ pages.... Any idea how to change layout so I can read it properly on iPad?
