My macbook air now has a purple vertical line on the screen that just showed up...how can I get it removed?

I assume it's a hardware(LCD) problem. You'd better make Genius Bar appointment and show them the circumstance you face with now.

I have the same issue as cahicks218. My model is MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2014).

I have taken the screen shot of my screen using command+shift+3. But in the screen captured photo, that vertical line does not appear.
