Purchased song won't play

I bought an album a long time ago and it never had a problem with playing before, but for some reason there's one song that will not play. It keeps telling me to renew my Apple music membership when i try to play it, but I've never had an Apple music membership..? It's downloaded on my iPhone, it's always played properly before, and there's no option to download it in the iTunes store, but it will not play. Besides buying an Apple music membership, how can i fix this?
