why does logic normalize files from other projects?

Hi guys

As i import audio files from a different project (Cubase, Ableton)

Logic normalize it

I mean, file gets louder.

What can I do?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

Turn off normalise on import in your Logic preferences.
