Mid 2012 Macbook wouldn't boot

I am using a mid-2012 Macbook Pro and I just updated to El Capitan. Now the mac wouldn't boot after I charged it for overnight. The progress bar remained at zero, but I am able to log into the guest user profile. I have tried repairing the disk but it didn't help. Is there any solution?
