Why does google account tab keeping popping up on safari

WHen I am logged onto our MacBook a Google sign in tab keeps popping up every few minutes whatever we are looking at and can't stop it happening anyone know what to do

According to reports, you need to sign in to your Google account on the website and, in the account settings, click the link to "Sign-in and security". There should be a option somewhere on the page to "Allow less secure apps". Enable that option and save the change.

Note: I don't use any personalized Google services and I haven't tested this solution myself. If it doesn't work, go to the Google user forums for help.
