Why doesn't my MacBook Air 13 inch El Capitan support Air Drop?

Since I have updated to El Capitan on my MacBook Air 13 inch, Air Drop has stopped working for me. I can still find other people, but none of them can find me. It does not work for me when I am Air Dropping pictures and files to iPone and MacBook Air/Pro. When I am trying to receive, other people can not find me on both the iPhone or MacBook Air/Pro. Anyone help?
