Why won't my macbook turn on without being charged?

I have a 13 inch late 2011 Macbook Pro and a 2009 black Macbook.

I'm getting my macbook pro repaired and i'm using this black macbook as a temporary replacement and i've noticed that the computer will not run if it isn't being charged. I posted my specs below regarding battery and I noticed that the cycle count was still at 106 and it was in good condition, so i'm confused as to what's going on and if you have any solution, please let me know! Thank you

As you can see: the charger charges correctly, but the battery stays at 0.

This can happen when the battery has been "deep uncharged" (this is killing for a battery).

Often after a deep uncharge it can take 20-60 minutes before the charger can getting any charge in.

If it stays at 0, there is a small chance that a reset of the electronics will help.

Do a SMC reset:

Sometimes you have to do this 2 or 3 times.

Note: the black macbook may have been stored without being charged for a long time. That is not good: Storing a Li-Ion battery for longer times is best done when the battery is about half full, when longer than 5-6 months the battery needs to be charged. Letting a battery completely go down deep, is very bad for the battery and may even kill a good battery.
