Windows Phone App for Mac

Hi, I am new to Mac. I want to connect my Lumia 830 with my MacBook Pro. I have tried connecting the device, but it's not even detecting as it use to on Windows and Linux. I searched a lot and found a photo sharing app by Nokia and it helped my import the photos from my phone. But it only imports/exports photos and nothing else.

Recently I found that there is a Windows Phone App available for Mac. But when I follow the link to Apple Store, its showing that the item is not available in India. Please help me to sort this out. I'm stuck with not being able to copy anything to/from my phone.
