Safari cannot open certain pages (El Capitan).

Safari (9.0) tries to reload certain web pages several times and then says that web material is stopped unexpectedly. The page is not displayed. Other pages work fine. Disabling extensions does not help. Any ideas?

MacBook (Retina, 12-inch, Early 2015), OS X El Capitan (10.11)

Check your top sites -- have noticed that some web sites are a bit too happy with loading their first page with videos and other animation going on and on forever --its what the designers learned on small scale in college - and just does not work well in real life and if I owned a business would fire them all.

If you have had Safari crashes - you may have parts of it still running - So a powerdown/powerup will clear them from memory.

Thanks for your help, Eric, but this does not solve the problem.

The problem report generated after a page loading failure (which I can send to Apple) starts as follows:

Process: com.apple.WebKit.WebContent [1104]

Path: /System/Library/Frameworks/WebKit.framework/Versions/A/XPCServices/com.apple.We bKit.WebContent.xpc/Contents/MacOS/com.apple.WebKit.WebContent

Would you have any idea where I could find more information about how to interpret such a problem report?
