Mac Mini 2.1 upgrade

I have a Mac Mini 2.1(2007) with duo Intel core, 2 GHz and 1 GB RAM. I have obtained upgrade material from OWC, and will now have 4 GB(effectively 3 GB) RAM, and a 240 GB SSD. What I would like to know is:- what is the highest version of OS X that I will be able to run with this profile? Many thanks in advance, for any help.

Mac mini, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8)

Lion is the highest. If you do not have it you can purchase a download code here:

thanks for you help so far - now I need to ask - how do I load Lion? As I understand I can only buy it as an upgrade from 10.6.8, but I will have changed my hard drive, and I think that means a clean installation is required. The only disc that I have is the original 10.4 Tiger install disc(2 discs). How can I get to install 10.7 Lion?
once again, many thanks
