my ipod wont connect with any computer for me to update it or put music on it

I've set up playlists to put on ipod but I cant get any of my computers to pick the ipod up. orginal cable. latest version on computers but not on ipod because I cant connect it.

To transfer anything from your computer to your iPod you need to install and use iTunes. You cannot do a direct transfer from your PC like other MP3 players.
