hi I've just bought an ipod touch 6 and am now attempting to update itunes to install it but i currently cant. throught the install a text box states that my windows installer to open this cannot open so i cannot install this how can i fix this problem

Yes i have just tried this
it says there's a problem with the windows installer package. Aprogram required for this install to complete could not be run
One possible solution would be to check for corrupted system files.
also anti virus software could be interfering or malware could also be lurking
to fix system files do the following but note it make take some time to run so be patient
SFC tool scans system files and replaces incorrect versions of the system files by using the correct versions.
To run the System File Checker tool, follow these steps:
1. Click Start, and then type cmd in the Start Search box.
2. Right-click cmd in the Programs list, and then click Run as administrator.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password or click Continue
3. At the command prompt enter sfc /scannow and press ENTER
