iPhone Bluetooth won't automatically connect to a previously paired device

Any ideas? The device show's up in the "MY DEVICES" section in bluetooth but I have to physically touch it to make the connection... Shouldn't a previously paired device connect again automatically?

Also read any previous related questions but most seemed related to car and not headsets...
