Safari 9 using too much CPU

Hi,

Sometimes when I use Safari 9, it uses 120%+ CPU and a significant amount of memory. I don't have a lot of tabs open and sometimes just looking at a simple webpage, so I'm not too sure why it does this. Anyone else come across this issue? Thanks.

This is apparently supposed to be an iPhone forum, not a Mac forum--maybe that's why this isn't getting responses. But FWIW, I have the same problem. MacBook Pro Retina (mid-2015), OS X 10.10.5, Safari 9.0.1. After just a few minutes of light use of Safari, I hear the fan running and Activity Monitor reports that Safari is using something like 134% CPU. But for me it's just CPU; the memory numbers look normal.
