Can I use SanDisk to transfer iMovie files to Applestore computer for editing?

I bought a SanDisk so that I do not have to carry my laptop to the AppleStore for a workshop. I note that the SanDisk files are MP4. Will this be ok to upload onto iMovie for the workshop?
