I just received a new iPad mini for my birthday. I just began to the set up, and I am stuck on the "Find My iPad" screen. I can click both 'Use Find My iPad" and "Don't Use Find My iPad", but nothing happens. It just highlights them in gray. How do I get to the next step in the set up?

Congrats on your new iPad mini. I know that is not a fun time when you start setting it up and it is not progressing further than a setup screen. There are a few things that you can do to get you up and running.
I would start with simply restarting your iPad. You can do that by press and holding the sleep/wake button until you see a a Slide to Power off screen. If you do not see that you can press and hold the sleep/wake and Home buttons for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo again. Once you get there, you can go through that set up process again.
