I'm sorry to hear you are having these issues with your update to El Capitan. I'm a bit unclear on any software package that may be installed on your Mac to facilitate use of your hotspot, but if your Mac joins your hotspot the same way it would join any other WiFi network, you may find the information and troubleshooting steps outlined in the following article helpful:

Nov 2, 2015 11:04 AM in response to Mauivegaby Ergo17,Have you tried looking for new drivers etc at the Huawei site? I had a similar problem and finally found assistance there. Try http://consumer.huawei.com/en/support/index.htm and then enter the correct name of the product as I think there are several versions of the E5372,
Also, this in't a WIFI hotspot but rather a USB 4G device which does need drivers etc, not wifi access.
