connectivity problems with apple 5 and ios 9

For some reason last night my iphone 5 stopped connecting properly. I received notifications on my phone, can make phone calls but cannot receive data. I realize I just said that i receive notifications on my phone but that is all.

I try to open facebook and it does not update. Same with Whatsapp. It just churns. Same with Safari - just churns

Yes I tried to turn it off and on; I have made sure that the IOS is the latest.

Please help me

I see you are having data connection issue with your iPhone on iOS 9. There are a couple of things I would like to recommend for this issue.

First, if you haven't done so, upgrade your iOS to iOS 9.0.2, that contained some fixes for data connectivity issues. The following article explains how to do this:

If you are still having issues, then the following article provides info on troubleshooting cellular data:
