Q: Battery life so low ;(

Hi there

I'm using MacBook Air 13", middle 2013 OS X El Capitan version 10.11.

My problem is: My MacBook Air just works for about 5 hours instead of 12 hours and then the battery is down.

Why? How can I solve the problem? If I have my battery on 50% it shows me: You have 2 hours left.

I really need a answer.
