They been working fine on iPhone 6 (regular and plus), but both of those card swipers doesn't work on neither iPhone 6s (regular and plus).
Just to confirm - it's not the phone case issue 🙂

What did the SquareUp support say?
They told that most likely it is because I have the older version of the Square reader. They supposed to send me a newer version.
I assume it may be the case, because today I received the Paypal Here card reader and it looks a little different from the old one that I have had for few years, and the new Paypal Here reader did work out of the box. Will see if new Square reader will be working OK once I'll get it.
I know that the old Square reader was working fine with iPhone 6+, but I cannot confirm what iOS version I did use it last time with (8 or 9).
Iphone 6s the reader does not work.
We have (2) readers and the following devices. iPhone 6s, 6, 5, IpadMini Retina and the only device that does not work is the iPhone 6s. We have uninstalled, deleted, etc still no go. All with iOS 9 latest build.
Square does not even accept that there is problem.
Based on my experience with Paypal Here reader - most likely you simply need to get the latest version of Square reader.
New Paypal Here reader is working just fine with my 6s+, while the few years old Paypal Here reader doesn't work at all.
