Itunes stuck on loading screen(window) & iphone cant connect to itune app (iphone)

For window Itunes it has been happening for a long while now, ever since I upgraded from Itune 11.2.1 to 12 it hasnt been the same and gets stuck on the picture of my phone loading, and forever stays there. As for my phone it started just yesterday night, but I couldnt download any apps and couldnt connect to the app store I tried restarting, switching between wi-fi and 3g, switching network, etc none of those seem to have work, and im at a lost of what to do. Anyone else have this problem?
