MacBook Pro OSX Yosemite
Been burning DVDs from iMovie for 3 years with New DVD Creator Pro App.
Suddenly, the DVD player in my Mac reads disc not supported.
Why can't I play these dvds?

Chances are good that the laser may have gone in the SuperDrive. They do wear out after significant use over time. If you have access to an external CD/DVD Player/Burner then try that. They start at around $30 these days. I have been using an LG for the last year as it is a lot cheaper than getting a new SuperDrive fitted. If DVD burning does still not work, then take it in to be looked at by an Authorised Apple Repairer.

Thank You Peter.....if I buy one, will that enable me to burn videos from IMovie in my Macbook Pro?
My DVD player on the MacBook Pro did play another dvd I had made years ago so it seems maybe the laser is ok?
Just out of interest, have you changed brands of blank DVDs recently?
