fototeca Fotos not appearing in Imovie

I can not find the Photos Library in Imovie, even if I ask to open a new library I am not allowed to open the Photos Library where I have all my pictures.

I have the possibility of making a Huge Export to a file and then import this file but this looks to me very inefficient in space terms.
